It’s the perfect season for this new dish! We perfectly sear beef roast seasoned with herbs de Provence for you to finish in your slow cooker along with a touch of flour, chicken broth, peeled tomatoes, cognac, carrots, garlic cloves, fennel bulb, yellow onion, sun-dried tomato tapenade, fresh parsley, and orange zest. This is in between a pot roast and hearty stew. You may slice or dice however you like. It’s served over hot buttered egg noodles. Highly recommend pouring all of the flavorful pan juices over the roast and noodles!
Pairs beautifully with this week’s Simple Side Salad, Acorn Squash Casserole, French Onion Smashed Potatoes, and Cherry Pie Fluff for a sweet treat under our “Sides” menu!
