A friend’s German grandmother, Oma, gave me this recipe. German Pot Roast is different from regular in that the beef is marinated for 2 days in red wine, red wine vinegar, juniper berries, cloves, etc. Also, the addition of gingersnap cookies to the gravy is very Southern German. Served with egg noodles.
